This guide focuses on the Pentatonic scale almost entirely. It was Murnahan's aim to explain the workings of the scale in a way that novices could swiftly learn to play and therefore still be psyched about prolonging their education. This particular device is known to be the easiest to get a handle on making this method of teaching very useful. The guide is laid out in 150 daily lessons. The course also has auditory backtracks for practicing what is learned .

The feedback from our reviewers were quite mixed for this offering. The guide is distributed in five 30 day sections, for an amount of 150 lessons. Some felt that the pace of this course was too quick. That said there is little keeping you from taking it at your own pace. Essentially what the student does is take something from each daily exercise to eventually develop an understanding of the Pentatonic device. The course was rated at 3 stars.
